Mehmet Özkoç was born under the challenging conditions of a civil war. Together with his mother, Özten Özkoç, he overcame the hardships of the war and took his first steps into trade by producing yogurt and ayran in the back room of their house. Over time, by increasing his savings and connections, he established and launched the Beyköy Dairy Products Factory in 1989. With his market knowledge and deep commitment to the community, Mehmet Özkoç created one of the island's most memorable brands, Halisköy. With the support of his mother, Beyköy Dairy Products succeeded in becoming one of Cyprus's leading enterprises.
